The police, in keeping with fine law & order tradition, have managed to find a way to charge them all with a felony and two counts of battery. Remember, folks, if the police don't like you, charges will miraculously double or triple. It's a good thing crucifixion isn't considered a valid punishment anymore.
The cardinal leading the mass provides with the perfect quote, showing hypocrisy at its finest:
"We should all work for peace," George said, "but not by interrupting the worship of God. It's an act of violence to come among a group of believers and try to manipulate worship to your own purposes, no matter how noble and good they are."
I imagine the collection plate went around right after that quote, before people had calmed down enough to be rational.
