DID YOU KNOW:the internet can be used to liberate mankind... or enslave it. it has the potential to let people communicate relatively without bias or bullshit. however, every move people make on the net increasingly is being stored in databases. if you were, say, the fictional goverment in the book "1984", you would find this very useful for precisely tuning your bullshit engines. that is fiction... probably. it's easy to go too far with this stuff: if you are accusing one laptop per child initative as being a plot to elsave africa's children with the internet, you probably have taken it too far. i have not. ok? got it.
